RECYCLED RUBBER BOOT. Driven by a vision to create iconic, long-lasting footwear, this project focused on material innovation, reimagining classic rain boot silhouettes through a sustainable lens. Designed to withstand both time and the elements, the Chelsea and high-shaft styles were crafted from recycled natural rubber, offering a low-impact alternative without compromising on functionality. A custom-developed outsole with enhanced grip for wet conditions, while a shared last across styles ensures a cohesive, streamlined fit. Produced in Europe, the result was a modern, minimal boot with understated appeal—a favourite among style-conscious consumers and influencers worldwide.

LIEWOOD CLOTHING AND OUTERWEAR COLLECTIONS

This outerwear range blends Scandinavian design with a strong focus on sustainability. Timeless silhouettes and functional details are crafted to support everyday adventures, with an emphasis on comfort, durability, and freedom of movement. The collection uses recycled fibres and GRS-certified (Global Recycled Standard) materials, ensuring transparency and reduced environmental impact throughout the supply chain. From padded jackets to rainwear, every element—from fabric to print—was carefully selected to uphold both performance and aesthetic standards. Thoughtfully designed and consciously made, the collection reflects a circular, considered approach to dressing the next generation.


RECYCLED LEATHER

A consciously crafted collection of handbags, wallets, and small goods designed with a focus on circularity, function, and personality. Each piece was developed using recycled leather, made from glove factory off-cuts tshredded into fibers, and reformed into durable leather sheets—offering a sustainable, high-quality alternative. From silhouette design to print selection, material sourcing, and product development, every detail was carefully directed to ensure a bold yet responsible result. The structured, playful shapes paired with seasonal prints reflect a design language that is both expressive and future-minded.

SUSTAINABLE eyewear

Created to merge style with sustainability, this children’s eyewear collection made from 100% recycled and recyclable polycarbonate with hyper-flexible hinges designed to withstand everyday use. The frames feature classic shapes tailored for children’s faces. A refined colour palette—featuring tortoise effects, semi-transparencies, and solid finishes in both matte and glossy textures—was developed to convincingly mimic acetate while remaining lightweight and durable.
Material sourcing and colour direction were key focuses in ensuring the collection aligned with LIEWOOD’s vision of modern, responsible design for children’s everyday essentials.
